Kitchen Cleaning Schedule: Printable Weekly Checklist

A cleaning schedule lists every cleaning task in the kitchen, how often it must be done and who signed it off. It stops the tasks that nobody owns from being skipped.

What is inside

  • A weekly grid of eleven common tasks, from work surfaces and knives to hoods, fridges, drains and bins
  • Tick boxes for each day of the week and a sign-off column
  • A frequency column where you write D, W or M for daily, weekly or monthly
  • Lines for the week, the kitchen, the lead and a manager check

It suits kitchens of any size. Edit the tasks and frequencies to match your equipment and your own food safety plan.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the tasks?

Yes. The task names and frequencies are for you to edit or rewrite by hand to suit your equipment and site.

How do I make sure it gets done?

Give each task an owner, let the lead sign each week and have a manager check the sheet. A schedule with no follow-up soon stops working.

How to use this form
  1. Print one sheet per week.
  2. Write the frequency for each task in the Freq column: D, W or M.
  3. Assign every task to a person or a shift.
  4. Tick each day when the task is done and sign.
  5. The lead checks the sheet at the end of the week.
  6. A manager checks and signs the sheet, then you file it.
