Recipe Tasting Evaluation Form: Printable Dish Testing Sheet

A recipe tasting evaluation is a scoring sheet for testing a new dish or a change to an existing one. Tasters score the same criteria, you check the practical points, and the team makes a clear decision.

What is inside

  • Dish, version, date, tasters, portion cost and target selling price
  • Scores from 1 to 5 for appearance, aroma, seasoning, texture, temperature, portion and plating, consistency and speed
  • Practical checks: written recipe, allergens, cost per portion, batching, yields and station workload
  • A decision box (approve, change and retest, or reject), changes to make and a signature

It suits head chefs and development teams testing menu items.
