Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all food outlets, including restaurants, coffee houses, and in-room dining services.
• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities, ensuring high-quality dishes with stunning presentation.
• Supervise kitchen staff performance, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Manage kitchen assets and equipment, addressing maintenance needs and recommending replacements when necessary.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to monitor food costs, inventory, and supplies.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including HACCP standards.
• Provide training, performance evaluations, and continuous development for kitchen staff, in coordination with HR.
• Oversee the kitchen management team, including Sous chefs and culinary supervisors.
• Plan and create diverse, seasonal menus to maintain excitement and innovation in the culinary offerings.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage department to coordinate special events and promotions.
• Participate in budgeting, monitoring expenditures to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and taste across all dining venues.

Qualifications:

• Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent experience, with flexibility to work varied schedules.
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-class, innovative kitchen or hotel/resort.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor staff.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines, food trends, and culinary best practices.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and sanitation standards in kitchen operations.
• Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
